S. Koreans eye Sual for business expansions

Manila Times.net
DAGUPAN CITY: A group of investors from South Korea has eyed the building of a multibillion eco-industrial and tourism zone in Pangasinan.
Eyeing the municipality of Sual, Koreans who recently visited the province had agreed to invest in constructing a modern windmill farm for alternative energy, a factory for electronic cars and a shipbuilding complex.

The windmills, which will have two rotators rotating in opposite directions to increase its generating capacity, will be put up in this town.

Purposely these windmills, which would be twice better than the windmills of Bangui, Ilocos Norte would be the source of power, once the electric car factory and the shipbuilding yard has been completed.

Meanwhile in Lingayen, a 40-hectare eco-tourism zone is now ready where an 18-hole golf course is about to be constructed this month.

“This eco-tourism zone will encourage tourists to visit our province” Gov. Amado Espino     Jr. said.
All these projects will generate jobs for skilled workers, engineers, supervisors, managers and all Pangasinense job seekers. The      official said.

“The Koreans also considered Pangasinan as feasible place where money could be invested,” Espino added.
