SN-ABOITIZ POWER Corp. is looking at other projects in the Philippines including potentially new power plants, Chief Executive Emmanuel V. Rubio told reporters.

“We are looking at other expansions [of current projects] and maybe if there is an opportunity some greenfield [projects] too,” he said, adding that no decisions have been made on further plans.

The company, which is a joint venture of Aboitiz Power and Norway-based SN Power, is currently in the process of deciding if it will expand the Magat hydroelectric power plant in Isabela to 90 megawatts (MW) or 100 MW. A final investment decision will be made before the year ends. --
