THE ENERGY Regulatory Commission (ERC) has renewed the license of a First Gen Corp. unit, allowing it to act as an aggregator of power, the agency said in a statement Thursday.
ERC has allowed First Gen Energy Solutions, Inc. to continue functioning as an entity that purchases power in bulk, which can then be
marketed and distributed to retail electricity suppliers. The renewed license is valid until 2017.
