NGCP: Power outages set in parts of Pangasinan Tuesday

Lingayen,Pangasinan – A 10-hour electric power supply interruption will affect several towns of eastern Pangasinan on Tuesday, March 28 due to maintenance activities on the distribution lines, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said.
Melma Batario, NGCP regional communications and public affairs officer, said the power supply interruption will be from 7 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will affect the areas being served by the substations of the Pangasinan Electric Cooperative III (Panelco III) in Barangay Barangobong, Tayug and Umingan.
NGCP said that a replacement of wood poles and correction of line defects along the Tumana-Libertad 69KV (Kilo Volt) segment will be carried out.
A two-phase electric power supply interruption is likewise scheduled from 7 a.m to 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 28 and will affect towns in central Pangasinan under Panelco III’s Urdaneta (new) and Rosales substations as well as those of the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative’s Bautista and Bayambang substations.
