SN Aboitiz Power Group won four Anvil Awards for the communication campaigns on their hydroelectric plants and their role in protecting the environment.
Lawyer Mike Hosilllos, SNAP Benguet vice president for corporate services, said the awards recognized the firm’s service to host communities, the government and the people using clean energy from its power plants.
He said SNAP Group, and SN Power of Norway, won an Excellence award for the “i-Travel SAFE” campaign for workers.
SNAP-Benguet bagged an Excellence award for its Ambuklao power plant coffee table book “Renewable Energy for a Renewed Nation” under the PR Tool Special Publication category.
Hosillos said SNAP-Magat and SNAP-Benguet won merit awards for “DALOY Magat” water use efficiency and Ambuklao’s re-opening “The Power to Renew”, respectively.
On its 47th year, Anvil of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines chooses the best communication campaigns in what is considered as “Oscars” of local practitioners.
