Ric Zambales reiterates promise to
the public to step down as Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco) General Manager
if the Province of Palawan will experience the same extent of power outages as
last year.
lalawigan,” Zambales said.
“Yung statement ko (to resign) ay
may halong tampo.
nakalipas na taon,” he explained.
Zambales is confident that they are
exerting all efforts to address power shortage. “There might still be
black-outs but at least it will not be as worse compare to last year” he said
in a media interview.
Problems in power shortage are
believed to be addressed according to Zambales once the Delta P 26 megawatt,
Langogan Power Corporation’s 6.8 megawatts power and 8 megawatts hydro power
plant in Batang-batang, Narra are in full operation.
The Paleco is strengthening its
coordination with the independent power producers to immediately address
problems that may crop-up.
