MANILA, Philippines – State-run
Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM) is disposing more
assets worth nearly P20 million.
The agency tasked to manage
state-owned power assets said it would auction off assets located in Visayas
and Mindanao.
The first package includes the
unserviceable and general power plant equipment, spares, materials and scrap
worth P18 million.
These assets are located in its Cebu
Diesel Power Plant in Toledo City, Cebu; Palimpinon Goethermal Power Plant in
Valencia, Negros Oriental; Bohol Diesel Power Plant in Tagbilaran City,
Bohol; and Aplaya Diesel Power Plant in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental.
Meanwhile, the second package
involves the unserviceable and general power plant equipment, spares, materials
and scrap worth P1.22 million.
These are located in the Panay
Diesel Power Plant and in General Santos Diesel Power Plant.

For both packages, a pre-bid
conference will be held on Nov. 27 and the deadline for documentary deliverables
is on Dec. 2.
“PSALM shall notify the interested
bidder of whether its documentary deliverables were compliant or non-compliant
and shall issue the final bidding documents to qualified bidders on or before 7
December 2015,” PSALM said.
Qualified bidders have until Dec. 21
to submit offers.
