Pump price of diesel would go up in the coming week, Unioil Petroleum Philippines said Saturday.
In its fuel price forecast for July 28 to August 3 trading week, Unioil said diesel price may increase by P0.20 per liter.
“Gasoline should have no price movement,” it said.
Fuel companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday to be effective the following day.
Data from the Department of Energy showed the year-to-date price adjustment for gasoline stands at a net decrease of P5.07 per liter, while diesel is at a net decrease of P8.54 per liter. —Ted Cordero/LBG, GMA News
