DAVAO Light
and Power Co. Inc. will conduct two 15-minute power interruptions from 2 to
2:15 a.m. and from 4 to 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, affecting customers
connected to the San Vicente Substation.
These service
disruptions will be necessary to transfer the load of San Vicente Feeders 3, 4
and 5 from the Mobile Substation back to the 33-megavolt-ampere (MVA)
transformer. This will also facilitate the tapping of power cable between San
Vicente 10-MVA and 33-MVA 13.8-kV bus.
Specifically affected
are customers from crossing Mary Knoll High School up to New Malitbog. This
includes Barangays New Visayas, San Francisco, Nanyo, Tubod and areas at the
back of the public market.
Davao Light apologizes
for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But,
it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier.
However, there may be instances when restoration may extend beyond the schedule
due to unavoidable circumstances.
