OIL companies are set to implement
another round of oil-price increases.
They said prices of gasoline will go
up by P0.10 per liter and diesel by P060 per liter. Kerosene prices, likewise,
will increase by P0.45 per liter.
Total Philippines, PTT Philippines
and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines said that their respective price adjustments
for gasoline and diesel will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28.
Seaoil Philippines will also
implement its price increase for gasoline, diesel and kerosene on the same day.
Other oil firms are e xpected to
follow suit.
On August 14 oil firms increased
gasoline prices by P0.15 per liter and diesel by P0.25 per liter.
Local pump prices are mainly
influenced by the crude prices in the world market, the peso-dollar exchange
rate and taxes.
