The board of  Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. approved the rebidding of Power Barges 101, 102, 103 and 104 in the second half of this year  with changes in the sale terms.
PSALM president and chief executive Emmanuel  Ledesma Jr. said the board decided to remove the condition of moving all the barges to Mindanao as part of the sale.
The board opted to only move Power Barge 104 to Mindanao. Power Barges 101, 102 and 103 are not required to be transferred to Mindanao.
Power Barges 101 and 102, commissioned in 1981, are currently stationed at Barrio Obrero in Iloilo City. Power Barge 103, which began operation in 1985, is moored in Botongon, Estancia, Iloilo. Power Barge 104, also commissioned in 1985, is stationed at the Holcim compound in Ilang, Davao City. source
