Aboitiz Power Corp. on
Monday said 11 of the biggest companies in Central Luzon chose the power
company for operational support.
Aboitiz Power
subsidiary AdventEnergy noted the new customers are under the Retail
Competition and Open Access (RCOA) regime.
The customers are
Yokohama, HLD Steel Pipes, Amertron, Multi-tek, Kodec Precision,
Nidec Subic Philippines, Juken Sangyo Corp., Sanyo Denki, Nicera Philippines, Hitachi Terminals Mechatronics and EZSET Tonglung Metals.

AdventEnergy provides
clean and renewable energy.
Another AboitizPower
subsidiary, Aboitiz Energy Solutions Inc. (AESI), also bagged its newest
customer, Philippine Resins Industries Inc.

AboitizPower Executive Vice-President and Generation Business Group COO Manny
Rubio said.
Rubio noted the
projects of Aboitiz Power, in line with the goal of increasing its capacity to
4,000 megawatts (MW) by 2020, to keep up with the growing Philippine economy.
AboitizPower and its
partners have 3,350 MW total net sellable capacity that supplies private
distribution companies, electric cooperatives, and industries.
Around 38 percent of
the capacity is renewable energy, which makes AboitzPower one of the biggest RE
developers in the country, the company said.
Licensed Retail
Electricity Suppliers AdventEnergy and AESI took advantage of a gathering in
Subic to discuss updates on the power industry, as well as the latest
value-added technical services that can be provided by AboitizPower,
AbotizPower said.
The services include
power quality analysis, vibration analysis, and thermal scanning, as well as
billing updates and services.
He noted that the
companies are the first Open Access customers outside of Manila, not only of
AboitizPower but of the entire industry.
